Elangeni TVET College is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution operating under the South African Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). Headquartered in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal, the college provides quality, career-focused education and skills development to prepare students for employment, entrepreneurship, and further studies.
Formed through the merger of several former technical colleges, Elangeni TVET College serves communities across the eThekwini Metropolitan area and surrounding districts through eight campuses located in Inanda, KwaDabeka, KwaMashu, Pinetown, Mpumalanga (Hammarsdale), Ndwedwe, Ntuzuma, and Qadi, as well as an Artisan and Skills Development Centre in Inchanga.
The college offers a wide range of accredited programmes, including National Certificate (Vocational) [NC(V)] qualifications, NATED (Report 191) programmes, occupational qualifications, artisan development, and skills programmes. Areas of study include Engineering Studies, Business Studies, Information Technology, Hospitality, Tourism, Agriculture, Office Administration, Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Public Management, and other trade-related disciplines.
